- No. You can log all charging sessions manually — it only takes 10 seconds. If you have a compatible wallbox (e.g. go-e Charger), your charging sessions are automatically detected and documented.

- ChargeDoc captures automatically, shows trends and comparisons, creates professional reports, and syncs with your wallbox. No manual spreadsheet maintenance, no formula errors, no forgotten entries.
- Does the app work offline?
- Yes, all data stays on your device. There's no cloud requirement and no registration needed. Your sensitive data never leaves your smartphone.
- Which wallboxes are supported?
- We currently support go-e Charger (Home and Gemini) via local WiFi. The wallbox is automatically detected and charging sessions are recorded without manual effort. More manufacturers (Easee, Wallbox) coming soon.
- Can I use the app for my ATO tax return?
- Yes! ChargeDoc supports the ATO Logbook Method. Set your logbook business use percentage and the app calculates your deductible portion automatically. It exports ATO-compliant logbook reports and CSV files compatible with Xero, MYOB, and QuickBooks. For FBT, the app provides raw charging data for your tax agent. Always consult a registered tax agent.
- What is the EV vs. petrol car comparison?
- The app compares your real charging costs with typical petrol car costs. You see your savings per 100 km, per month, and per year — and you can share the result as a graphic.
- Can I cancel at any time?
- Yes, absolutely. All subscriptions can be canceled at any time through the App Store or Google Play. There are no hidden deadlines or cancellation fees. Your recorded data remains on your device even after cancellation.
- Is there a free trial period?
- Yes! You can try ChargeDoc for 14 days free and without obligation. All premium features are available during the trial. You'll only be charged after the trial period - and only if you don't cancel beforehand.
- What happens after the 14 days?
- After the trial period, your chosen subscription is automatically activated. You'll receive a reminder beforehand. If you don't want to continue, simply cancel within the 14 days - completely free and without giving a reason.
